"Bluegrass Cafe" playlist - 7/30/2006
Today's show included a brief conversation with a very busy man -- Roger Moss, Manager of the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival. This festival is coming up at the end of this week -- August 3-6 -- and is held at Martin Park in East Hartford, CT. For folks who've never ventured to Podunk because they think it's in "too urban" an area, you really ought to try to make it there for at least a day or two this year. The lineup is terrific (example: Rhonda AND Del will both be performing on Friday), and the location is very, very easy to find (even for those of us country folks who don't venture to the "big city" all that often). There is camping available, activities for the kids, and -- obviously -- lots of terrific music. Check out Podunk, if you can, and make sure you stop by the WHUS tent when you're there. Marti, Jim, Myrna, and I would love to see you!
