Our broadcast on Sunday included several selections from the King of Bluegrass (Jimmy Martin, of course!), as he would have celebrated birthday #91 on August 10th.  Our telephone guests were two fans of the music of Jimmy Martin -- Rourke & Patrick Feinberg.  It was good to talk to these busy brothers about their brand of straight-ahead, traditional Bluegrass, as well as about their latest recording, "Party For One," which was released in May 2018.  Be sure to look for the talented Feinberg Brothers and their outstanding band at a festival or show near you.

If Jimmy Martin and the Feinbergs weren't enough for you, we also included a short set of Pete Goble-penned songs that we didn't get to play last week, and a couple newer tunes from 2018 projects by High Fidelity, Five Mile Mountain Road, Jerry Wicentowski, the Del McCoury Band, and a track from the tribute record to the late John Duffey.

As a sample, we included a five songs from performers who will be found in Hebron, Connecticut this week at the 22nd Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival.  Hope to see you there.
