We celebrated three Bluegrass birthdays during this show with lots of music from the birthday celebrants, two of whom are members of the Bluegrass Hall of Fame: Carter Stanley (born August 27, 1925) and J.D. Crowe (born August 27, 1937). Songwriter and member of the Earls Of Leicester, Shawn Camp, also celebrates his birthday this week -- born August 29, 1966. New music was part of the show, too, including selections from forthcoming CDs by the Po' Ramblin' Boys, Roland White, Terry Baucom's Dukes Of Drive, the Kathy Kallick Band, and the Earls Of Leicester. Other 2018 tunes included selections from the John Duffey tribute recording, Larry Cordle, the Feinberg Brothers, Hot Rize, Becky Buller, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, and High Fidelity.
