Sunday's show started just a few minutes later than usual, as WHUS aired a Women's Hockey game until a bit after 4PM. It was December graduation day at UCONN, too, so finding a parking spot was challenging, to say the least. We prevailed, though, and managed to still bring you some great Bluegrass music (we hope).
Christmas songs were interspersed throughout most of the playlist, and we continued our December giveaway of several great CDs for our listeners. Many thanks to the folks at Rural Rhythm and Rebel for providing the giveaways this time around....

In addition to the Christmas tunes and a couple of requests, there was a bit of new music this week from a fine forthcoming project on Rural Rhythm by Audie Blaylock & Redline, a singer/songwriter from upstate New York, Tim Seabolt, a good new project from California-based Chris Stuart & Backcountry, and a tune from a North Carolina group, the Kickin Grass Band.
While I won't be on the air again at the Bluegrass Cafe until after Christmas, I'm scheduled to do a fill-in at WHUS on Tuesday, December 16th from 10AM-noon. My intent at this point is to play a mix of classic country music as well as the BG. Do join me if you can.
