"Bluegrass Cafe" playlist - 4/1/2007

After two weeks of Radiothon non-stop talking (or so it seemed to me), the promise when I returned to the air was to play as much music as possible. I think I did okay on that score -- just over 50 tunes in 3 hours isn't too shabby. We even included new music from the excellent Linda Lay & Sammy Shelor project for Virginia Folklife, as well as Randy Kohrs' latest, "Old Photograph." There are also some great "new" compilations or reissues of older projects from the Seldom Scene, Ralph Stanley, J.D. Crowe, and an all-gospel collection from Rose Maddox with the Vern Williams Band.
