Our Bluegrass Cafe returned with a brand-new, homemade show for this Sunday. There was lots of ground to cover, with numerous July birthdays to celebrate, a fine Bluegrass fiddler to remember, and some new music to share, too.
We remembered legendary Bluegrass fiddler, Byron Berline, who died on July 10th. Berline was a part of lots of bands and recordings over the years, it was relatively easy to find a few spotlight fiddle tunes to showcase.
And for new music, there was a couple of selections from a new all-gospel recording from Fast Track, as well as newer music from Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Chris Jones & the Night Drivers, Darin & Brooke Aldridge, and Jeremy Stephens.
