"Bluegrass Cafe" playlist - 7/25/2021

And here we are -- the last Sunday of July, already!  The summer is definitely flying by, whether it seems like that should be true, or not.  Mid-summer usually means the announcements from the International Bluegrass Music Association of nominees for IBMA Awards to be given out in late September.  This day's Bluegrass Cafe cast a spotlight on a whole bunch of 2021 IBMA nominees, and, of course, we also shared some newer music and celebrated a birthday or two.

It's always exciting to see who is going to be inducted into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame each year, and this year, two of the three inductees are top-notch female performers:  Alison Krauss and Lynn Morris.  To that end, we shared lots of music from each of these ladies.  The third Hall of Fame inductee for 2021 is the dynamic Stoneman Family.  Unfortunately, I do not have any Stoneman Family music at my disposal in my home music library, but we'll try to play some music from this family before too long.

We included music from several IBMA Award nominees throughout the program.  Good luck to all of the nominees!
