On this gorgeous May 23rd, we celebrated what would have been the 95th birthday of Country and Bluegrass Hall of Famer, Mac Wiseman (May 23, 1925 - February 24, 2019) with a whole lot of his music. What better way to remember "The Voice With A Heart?"
We also celebrated the birthdays of husband-and-wife Bluegrass Hall of Fame members, Tom T. Hall (born May 25, 1936) and Miss Dixie Hall (May 26, 1934 - January 16, 2015) with a full hour's worth of music from their creative minds. Of course, we could have filled several shows with the music of these two amazingly talented folks, but we limited ourselves to just one hour's worth on Sunday.
There was a tiny bit of newer music to share, as well, with selections from Balsam Range, Lou Reid, Eddie Sanders, Linda Lay, Nick Chandler & Delivered, Deanie Richardson, Danny Paisley & the Southern Grass, and the "Industrial Strength Bluegrass" collection.
Hope you had a lovely Sunday! We hope you'll join us once more next Sunday afternoon, 4-7PM.
Have a good week!
Amy O.
