Blue was the color for Sunday's Bluegrass Cafe, but not for any particular melancholy reason. There just so many "blues" songs in my "Bluegrass library" that we use to produce our "homemade shows" that it seems appropriate to pull them out and play them in clusters from time to time. I expect that we will continue doing this for a while, yet.
We also shared a few selections from a few more 2020 recordings that we weren't able to showcase much (if at all) during 2020. To that end, we heard two songs each from the latest recordings by Donna & Roni Stoneman, Flashback, Appalachian Road Show, Gary Brewer & the Kentucky Ramblers, and a gospel CD from Eddie Sanders.
