Fans of traditional, "hard core" BG are in for a major treat when David Davis & the Warrior River Boys take the stage at the Country Corner Coffee House in South Hadley, MA on Saturday, November 18th. These boys have a new record (okay...CD) out on Rebel Records called "Troubled Times," and it's very hard-edged, bluesy, and authentic. This is another band that has made the rounds many times for many years throughout New England and the Northeast, although David Davis and a majority of the band live in the Deep South. I don't think it should surprise anyone that there seems to be a great following for the traditional brand of BG in New England -- and those who love that sound will want to be in South Hadley on November 18th. Otherwise, make sure you get to South Hadley early enough on November 18th to secure a ticket (and a parking space!).
