Just in case you're worried that all of the outdoor Bluegrass activities have ended for 2006, here's another one-day festival for you to consider....
The Hartland Hollow Bluegrass Festival will take place this Saturday, September 9th at Berg Field in East Hartland, CT. The music will begin at 10AM and will end around 8PM. Performers include some of New England's (and Connecticut's) best bands: White Mountain Bluegrass, the Seth Sawyer Band, Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters featuring Roger Williams, GrassRoutes, Charter Oak Bluegrass, as well as Crossover, Dan Helman & Marking Time, the Pulpit Rock Rounders, and Cindy Rines & Friends. This event is held each year as a non-profit benefit for Camp Alice Merritt. Sound is provided by Country Corner Productions.
If you need more information or directions to Berg Field, click here to see the "official" flyer. You can also call (860)844-8526.
See you there!
