Playlist - 4/20/2014 - Easter

Hi Folks.

Bluegrass Cafe for Easter Day was in fact the final three hours of a seven-hour radio marathon for me because we had a full Red Rooster Party and another fill-in prior to the show.  As such, my blabbing was at a minimum and we were able to present 59 songs in our three-hours.

While the show consisted of our usual mix of classic, deep catalog, and new music; the last hour of the show was primarily gospel and inspirational music related to the Easter theme.

New music included the title track from Dolly Parton's new album which appears to be targeted towards bluegrass, music from Feller and Hill, Rhonda Vincent, Don Rigsby, Turning Ground, Jim Lauderdale, Bill Emerson, The Grascals, a new single from Becky Buller, Nitro Ride, Rich In Tradition, Alex Leach, and The Seldom Scene.

The Heritage Corner brought forth music from Bill Box and The Dixie Drifters, The Lynn Morris Band, Carl Sauceman and the Green Valley Boys, The Hillmen, Vern Williams & Ray Park, Bill Clifton, and of course The Johnson Mountain Boys.

Hope you enjoyed what you heard!
