"Bluegrass Cafe" playlist - 11/2/2008

For the last couple of weeks, I've tried to get in the habit of jotting down ideas for when it's my turn to be on the radio. This week, I had more stuff written down -- song titles and such -- than I got to say and/or play. Oh well. There'll be plenty of time for those things that were missed in future weeks, but more likely, those ideas will be replaced by new ones....

One new thing we tried today was a "then & now" for a couple of performers. We listened to an early song from a group, and followed that with a tune from a recording released in 2008. This time around, it was the Gibson Brothers from 1994 & 2008, as well as Bob & Dan Paisley & the Southern Grass in 1991 & 2008.

Anyhow, we hope you enjoyed what you heard today. It was a mix of old and new, as well as some "local" and regional performers, and a few of your requests, too.
