On Sunday, October 14th, the family and friends of the late luthier, Bernie Caouette, present their 2nd Caouette Music Scholarship Bluegrass Benefit Show. This event will be held at the Athol/Orange Elks, 92 New Athol Road, Orange, MA, and will begin at noon. The lineup is a stellar one, and includes the Gibson Brothers Trio (Eric & Leigh, along with Mike Barber), the Stillhouse Jammers, the MainLine Express featuring Jesse Brock & John Miller, Bean Hill Bluegrass, the Pine Hill Ramblers, Erica Brown, and Dan Helman & Marking Time. The sound is by Dave Helman of Country Corner Productions.
The Bernie Caouette Music Scholarship is available to students wishing to further their education in music and/or children of Athol Fire Department personnel. If you can't make the benefit, but would still like to contribute to the scholarship fund, please send your gift to:
