"Bluegrass Cafe" playlist - 3/4/2007

Sunday's show got a delayed start, as the UCONN Women's Basketball team defeated the Univ. of South Florida in their 1st round of Big East tournament action. We got a few nice requests to play (noted in blue on the list), and we listened to a bit of music from the new CD called "Iron Shapens Iron" by some young Canadians, the Abrams Brothers. For the next two Sundays, WHUS and BG Cafe will be "celebrating" Radiothon -- the one time during the year where we ask you for a bit of financial support for the station. In the past couple of years, we've done extremely well; in fact, generally, our show brings in the second highest amount of pledge dollars of any music show that airs on WHUS (the polka show is #1). We've been accumulating a good number of great CDs to offer you as premiums -- we'll post a list of them later in the week, I promise. Please join Jim, Marti, and I on Sunday.
