Another portion of the first hour of Sunday's radio show was devoted to some music performed by guitar picker, singer, and songwriter, Steve Gulley. This past week, Steve Gulley was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We shared music from some of Steve's bands, including his mid-1990s tenure with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Mountain Heart (of which Steve Gulley was a founding member), and from a new duet record he is working on with sometime-songwriting-partner, Tim Stafford. A GoFundMe campaign has been established by Gulley's friend and former bandmate, Phil Leadbetter.
