During Sunday's program, we also belatedly celebrated the birthdays of two members of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame: banjo legend Eddie Adcock (born June 21, 1938) and New England's only (so far) BGHoF member, the late Joe Val (born June 25, 1926). No better way to celebrate these two than to share some fine music, so we did just that.
Even with all of the trains and the birthday celebrating, we still had time for just a few newer selections, too. This time around we included music from Special Consensus, Amanda Cook, the duo of Boone & Foster, the Feinberg Brothers, and High Fidelity.
Hope you are enjoying our pre-recorded shows, as we will keep putting them together until we are allowed back into the radio station at the University of Connecticut. In the meantime, if you would like to contact us, please send email and/or visit our Bluegrass Cafe Facebook page and give it a "like."
Have a great week, and, of course, stay healthy!
Amy O.
