While I haven't been on the air doing Bluegrass Cafe since September 9th, if you're a regular listener of WHUS, you may have heard me for the last two Tuesday afternoons (9/11 & 9/18) playing a mix of what turned out to be mostly Bluegrass, plus a few classic country singers thrown in for good measure. This is not a new show -- I was just filling in some vacated spots before the official Fall Semester schedule change. Jim & Marti are very good WHUS staff members, and they do LOTS of fill-ins at different times of the day (and night), but I don't often get to do it.
(By the way, the WHUS Fall Schedule includes both BG Cafe in its regular Sundays, 4-7PM timeslot, as well as Jim & Marti's Red Rooster Party on Sundays, 2-4PM. Of course, all bets are off if there are sports preemptions).
So, the playlists posted here in this message are not from BG Cafe exactly, but they do include some good tunes you may or may not get to hear on the regular Sunday show. Read on, if you're interested....
