That "new-fangled" technology...

Howdy!

You may have noticed a suggestion on this website to visit our Facebook page, as well. We really hope you will, as our Facebook page for BG Cafe is brand new -- in fact, as of today, it's 3 days old. Facebook is one of those (sometimes annoying) social networking websites that has become almost a necessary form of communication in our technology-crazy world. So many times now, you might look at an advertisement in a magazine, or watch a TV show, and you'll see or hear a message that says, "Be sure to visit us on Facebook." Well, if you're one of the millions of folks with a Facebook account, we also want you to be sure to visit the new BG Cafe Facebook page. There, you'll be able to see photos, read playlists, and learn what's going on (or coming up) with the radio show. Is that a whole lot different than the info you can find on this BG Cafe blog? Not really -- it's just a different method of communication. When you visit our page, be sure to "like" us, and all of this new information that we add will automatically become part of your "news feed" on Facebook.

If you don't already have a Facebook account, none of this will make the slightest bit of sense to you...and that's fine. Becoming a "friend" of BG Cafe on Facebook isn't required to listen to -- and hopefully enjoy -- our radio program. You can even see our Facebook page without actually logging on to Facebook (you just wouldn't be able to post anything without an account).

We've made it pretty easy for you to find us on Facebook. All you need to know:

Check it out...if you can! We'll be looking for you...
