Calling all residents of the greater Hartford area....

Once again, it's time to cast your vote for your favorites in the greater Hartford area in the 2008 Hartford Advocate's Best of Hartford Reader's Poll. There is an online ballot that you can fill in by clicking here. If you'd like to "get your oar in the water," so to speak, and cast your vote for your favorite restaurant, movie theater, hair salon, pizza place, etc. in the area, now's the time to do it.

While you're voting, those of us at WHUS would be quite grateful if you'd be sure to place your vote for "BEST COLLEGE RADIO STATION" for us. Just type in "WHUS" when you get to that category, and you'll be all set!

Small disclaimer here: if you don't live in the greater Hartford area, and are not familiar with the various businesses and venues, you may have some difficulty voting. This is a fill-in ballot (as opposed to multiple choice), and you must vote in at least 30 categories (of more than 200 choices) in order for your ballot to be counted.

Please cast your ballot by Wednesday, January 30th at midnight, as that's when the online voting ends.
