During Sunday's Bluegrass Cafe, for the second time in two shows, we featured not just one but two Letters of the Week. Those letters were "M" and "N," and so, we played music from Jimmy Martin to Bill Monroe and the Nashville Bluegrass Band to Nu-Blu. Selecting these letters is a very good way to put more emphasis on performers we don't get to hear every week, and we can really concentrate on the recordings we own in very specific range. In truth, this week we were inspired to choose the letter "N," as I wanted to play music from Northern Lights. I'm probably one of the few folks in Connecticut who didn't actually see the northern lights this past week, so figured it would be fun to play them if I hadn't actually seen them. :)
