Although our annual fundraising campaign at WHUS -- Radiothon -- lasts from March 14-22, there was a bit of concern last week that this Sunday's BG Cafe edition of Radiothon might be preempted for UCONN Basketball. It turns out that Sunday's game for the UCONN Women takes place at noon, so that means there's no preemption for us! In short, we still have 3 hours to reach our station-set goal, and would really appreciate it if you can help us get there. No dollar amount gift is too small -- whatever you can donate to support our program (and WHUS as a whole) is much appreciated.
To thank you for your pledge, we still have a good number of great BG CDs and lots of fine WHUS goodies (organic t-shirts, hoodies, coffee mugs, reusable shopping bags, etc.). In addition, Jim & Marti return to to the Cafe this week, and Jim has a selection of CD offerings from his very own collection! Tune in Sunday to see what sorts of surprises are in store.....
