On February 13, 2018, Bluegrass performer and songwriter, Jake Landers, died at the age of 79. To that end, we shared eleven songs either written or co-written by Jake Landers -- all of them fine tunes which will, no doubt, continue to be heard and sung for years and years to come.
In 1932, two Country Music legends were born one day apart -- Faron Young on February 25th and Johnny Cash on February 26th. Songs from the songbooks of each of these performers have been recorded in the Bluegrass style, and so, we shared a few of each on Sunday afternoon. We also couldn't forget to share a few songs in memory of a true Bluegrass character/Hall of Famer: John Duffey, born on March 4, 1934.It was a fun show -- hope you liked it!
