"Bluegrass Cafe" playlist - 4/12/2015 RADIOTHON WEEK #1

Our loyal, somewhat busy operators on Sunday:
Eleanor Orlomoski, Clyde Proch, & Scott Farrar
It's the Season of Radiothon at WHUS!  If you tuned in to Sunday's show, you KNOW that we didn't play half as much music as we might normally play during a 3-hour broadcast.  While we don't necessarily like to talk, talk, talk all the time (honestly!), Jim and I do enjoy hearing from you during Radiothon.  We don't have any station-suggested goals for fundraising this year, but Jim and I did come up with a totally unofficial goal for our 3 hours on Sunday -- we wanted to make at least $1,000.  Well, thanks to your amazing generosity, we took in nearly $1,200 during our three hours of radio time, so THANKS!!!

We've got lots of great CDs to offer  -
and some nifty sweatshirts, too!
Rest easy, of course -- if you didn't get a chance to call in and make a pledge on Sunday, you've still got next Sunday's show to make the commitment to support our college and community radio at WHUS!

Special thanks to our wonderful record labels who were so generous in supporting our fundraising by donating and/or making available some fine CDs for us at WHUS:  Mountain Fever Records, Mountain Home, Patuxent Music, Rebel, and Rounder Records!  We couldn't do it without you!  Our playlist selections on Sunday were limited to the recordings we have available for premiums -- and there are lots of terrific recordings we were able to showcase there.

Sure hope you can join us for next Sunday's radio show -- Radiothon Week #2!  If you'd prefer to make a pledge during the week, you can do so by visiting this link.

Thanks again!  Enjoy the week!
