More traditional BG on the way....

Fans of traditional, "hard core" BG are in for a major treat when David Davis & the Warrior River Boys take the stage at the Country Corner Coffee House in South Hadley, MA on Saturday, November 18th. These boys have a new record (okay...CD) out on Rebel Records called "Troubled Times," and it's very hard-edged, bluesy, and authentic. This is another band that has made the rounds many times for many years throughout New England and the Northeast, although David Davis and a majority of the band live in the Deep South. I don't think it should surprise anyone that there seems to be a great following for the traditional brand of BG in New England -- and those who love that sound will want to be in South Hadley on November 18th. You can reserve a ticket for this show, if you like, but you have to do it by November 13th. To get your name on a reservation list, call (413)467-9394 or email Otherwise, make sure you get to South Hadley early enough on November 18th to secure a ticket (and a parking space!). If you'd like to learn more about DD & WRB before the show, check out their website, or visit their MySpace page for audio samples from the new record.
