"Bluegrass Cafe" playlist - 9/6/2020

And just like that, we've reached Labor Day weekend!  Hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend with some relaxation and maybe even enjoying some Bluegrass music!

Sunday's show began with some "working" songs, and our gospel ho
urs included some songs loosely associated with working, too.

We belatedly celebrated the birthday of

the Queen of Country Music,
Kitty Wells (born August 30, 1919) with a few
Bluegrass covers, and we couldn't forget the birthday of Buzz Busby-- the "Father Of Washington DC Bluegrass" -- who was born on September 6, 1933.

There was a smattering of new music to share this Labor Day weekend, as well, as we heard new music from J.B. & Jamie Dailey, Stephen Mougin, the F
einberg Brothers, Linda Lay, Hammertowne, Junior Sisk, and High Fidelity.

Enjoy the week ~ and thanks for listening!
