"New" music from 1963 is
on the way from Eddie Adcock

It's March, and that means basketball tournament time for the University of Connecticut's basketball teams.  While a 5PM scheduled game for the Women's Basketball team caused Sunday's show to be abbreviated to just sixty minutes, we tried to squeeze in as much music as possible in that short time...and I think we accomplished our goal.

While the show was shortened, new music still played a big part in our programming, as we included new music from recent or forthcoming projects by Big Country Bluegrass, the Gibson Brothers, Doyle Lawson & Paul Williams, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, the new autobiographical project by and about Mac Wiseman, and a track from a "lost" recording from 1963 featuring banjo legend (and Bluegrass Hall of Famer), Eddie Adcock.  There was also a track from a new Larry Sparks (another Bluegrass Hall of Famer) compilation from Rebel Records.


In addition, we gave away a couple of tickets to an upcoming show in our area featuring the Feinberg Brothers that is being held as a fundraising show for the non-profit Canterbury Historical Society.  More information on that show is here.
