Radiothon & the "Bluegrass Bonus Book Bonanza"...

As we mentioned more than once during yesterday's Radiothon activities, each person who makes a pledge to support WHUS during the "Bluegrass Cafe" will have his or her name entered into a drawing to win copies of the books shown above. Dr. Ralph's autobiography, Man Of Constant Sorrow: My Life And Times, is a must-read for all fans of "old-time mountain music," as he gives an interesting account of his life in the music business. The multi-talented Country Music Hall of Famer, Tom T. Hall, published his novel called What A Book! in 1996, and we have an autographed copy to offer in our Bluegrass Bonus Book Bonanza.

Our drawing will be held at the end of next Sunday's "Bluegrass Cafe" Radiothon activities. We hope to be with you from our "usual" 4-7PM, but will have to let you know, as there's always a possibility of preemption of some part of the show for UCONN Women's Basketball in the NCAA tournament.

We'll keep you posted...

UPDATE: The Women's Basketball game on Sunday has a tip-off time of 12:16PM, so the BG Cafe WILL NOT be preempted from 4-7PM. We hope you'll consider joining us and making a pledge...
