Lots of BG coming up in the area....

Folks -

There are many, many events to tell you about -- 3 of them happening this very weekend. I'm going to post info about each show in separate entries, but here's a Reader's Digest version:

  • Friday, October 12th -- Members of the CT Bluegrass Music Association present their "Bluegrass 101 course" for the Canterbury Historical Society meeting at the Canterbury Town Hall Community Room, 1 Municipal Drive, Canterbury, CT.   • Saturday, October 13th -- Blue Highway at the East Hartford Community Cultural Center, 50 Chapman Place, East Hartford, CT. Showtime is 7:30PM. More info: http://www.ehccc.com/index.php
  • Sunday, October 14th -- 2nd Annual Caouette Music Scholarship Bluegrass Benefit Show, Athol/Orange Elks, 92 New Athol Road, Orange, MA. Lineup includes performances by the Gibson Brothers Trio (Eric, Leigh, Mike), MainLine Express featuring Jesse Brock & John Miller, Bean Hill Bluegrass, Stillhouse Jammers, and more.   • Sunday, November 18th -- David Peterson & 1946, the Bristol Boys, & Nick Anderson & Tall Grass at the Plainfield Town Hall Community Room, 8 Community Ave., Plainfield, CT.
